TUINA MASSAGE by Gianluca
Service Description
Tuina (推拿) – Traditional Chinese Manual Therapy Tuina, meaning “push and grasp,” is one of the oldest forms of manual therapy in the world, with a history of over 5,000 years. It is an essential component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), alongside acupuncture, herbal medicine, and Qigong. Principles: Tuina is based on the same fundamental concepts as TCM — particularly the flow of Qi (vital energy) and the balance of Yin and Yang within the body. When Qi becomes blocked or imbalanced, discomfort or illness may arise. Tuina aims to regulate and harmonize the flow of Qi, promoting vitality, relaxation, and overall well-being. Techniques: Tuina combines a variety of manual techniques, including: - Pushing and kneading along the meridians - Grasping and rolling the muscles - Acupressure on specific points to stimulate energy flow - Stretching and mobilization to release tension and improve movement Benefits: - Restores the body’s natural energy balance - Relieves muscle tension and pain - Supports circulation and flexibility - Enhances relaxation and mental clarity Experience in a Session: During a Tuina session, the practitioner uses hands, fingers, elbows, and sometimes tools to apply rhythmic pressure and movement tailored to the individual’s needs. The session can be both deeply relaxing and invigorating, leaving the body and mind refreshed. Duration: 60 minutes Format: Individual session DE-EN-IT-ES
